The GRE is an important step in the graduate school or business school application process. The GRE is a multiple-choice, computer-based, standardized exam that is often required for admission to graduate programs and graduate business programs (MBA) globally.

WHAT IS A GRE CERTIFICATE?

The Graduate Record Examination is a computer-based test that an undergraduate degree candidate in a course of study leads to a master’s, or doctoral. After all, these graduate-level degrees can take to show the university or program admissions committee that he/she has the knowledge and skills needed for graduate work.

Accordingly, the GRE® General Test consists of 215 score areas, each scoring area includes approximately 20 questions. In each area, you need to answer 15 questions and the remaining are multiple choice. Also, you have “from 120 seconds to a few minutes” to respond to questions, depending on how difficult they are. Although, it test lasts about 3 hours and 45 minutes – 4 hours and 15 minutes and is offered several times each week at computerized testing centers throughout the world.

GRE SCORE FOR EXAM TAKERS

A good GRE score depends on the programs you are considering. Furthermore, the average score for all GRE test takers is currently 150 for Verbal and 152 for Math ( ETS).

Because the GRE General Test is used for such a wide range of graduate school programs (including some business schools!). But it relative weight it is given will vary from field to field and from school to school. Research the universities where you plan to apply.
